The Madera Hispanic Chamber of Commerce serves as a business trade association, providing activities that are designed to identify, promote, and develop Hispanic-owned enterprises. Serving the Greater Madera community, the Hispanic Chamber strives to develop partnerships through participation in community events, scholarship fundraising, business mixers, business seminars, political action committees, and civic-related activities.

Because of the competitiveness in today's technology-driven environment, businesses must be electronically connected. Our "Business Gateway" is our monthly website to concentrate on establishing and continuing an information system that provides current business news and vital information about other events in our community.

The Business Development department concentrates on three main ideas: public and corporate marketing, business advocacy, and education. This is the centerpiece of our organization and its commitment to the development of Hispanic and minority-owned business. Our focus remains true to the Marketing Plan of all Madera.

Our Leadership and Professional Development department is focused on expanding and supporting a larger pool pf knowledgeable, skilled and active business leaders with sensitivity to the Hispanic policy issues within the Madera County community.
We will be taking proactive steps to prioritize our legislative agenda for this crucial year 2003 by conducting meetings and remaining in constant contact with our legislators so they remain vigilant of our needs as business partners.
